中国通信企业协会是经民政部核准注册登记的非营利的全国性社团法人，成立于1990年12月，原名中国邮电企业管理协会。2001年5月经信息产业部、民政部批准更名为中国通信企业协会（简称中国通信企协），英文名称为China Association of Communications Enterprises（缩写CACE）。
